Billy Clinton Sonet
Being the President is not easy,
As Billy Clinton would probably say,
For what the States seem to think is sleazy,
Mr. William Clinton figured was okay.
In his impeachment, he later said "Hey,
I had no relations with that woman!"
So for his actions, he never would pay.
Other than that, he just sat on his can,
And left the economy to Greenspan.
Now he has finished up his final term,
ANd is going to be a musician,
Instead of opening some kind of firm.
So let's all hope is better at sax,
Than presenting the U.S. with hard facts! A sonet is a fourteen lined poem that has a weird ryme sceme to it...(If you'll notice, certain lines rhyme one after the other, while others don't...but everything rhymes with something, or at least should...)and has only TEN Syllables in each line. Believe me, it is NOT any easy thing to do! |
